A group of quilting friends made the Bookshelf Quilt for Barbara as a birthday gift a few years ago and apart from a few short times when it was being exhibited, it held pride of place in the shop.

Customers regularly commented on it and there have been visitors to the shop who have been told about "the quilt" and come not to buy a book but simply to look at and photograph it.
